 “Love of Children” Award

In 2015, the Marin Child Care Council (MC3) created the “Of the Year” Awards to recognize the contributions of early childhood educators in

Marin County and to highlight the importance of a high quality early childhood experience.

Early Childhood professionals play a critical role in a child’s social, educational and emotional development by nurturing a child’s confidence, inspiring their imagination and creativity, and advocating for the well-being of their children and families.

The “Of the Year” Awards are given to the outstanding Teacher, Director, and Family Child Care Provider to thank them for making a difference in young children’s lives. The award recipients, as well as all nominees, will be recognized during our annual Provider of the Year celebration.
